While I really liked this story and the characters I didn't enjoy how quickly every single thing was settled . The fighting between these two groups while quite violent ended quite rapidly. A young woman goes from almost being sold to a violent human trafficker to seeing her step brother that she's ignored for years to jumping into bed with two men during a period of days. I'm not a fan of writers who tie up things that quickly.Product details

This author has a great concept and well written characters but this book is not for those who are not into multiple partners at once or violence of the mob variety. It got confusing sometimes as there are three different POV to keep up with but it was action packed with so many other things that grab your attention that you just want to know who will make it out alive or if Amber will be taken. The plot moved at full speed as the main character is placed in danger from the beginning and is soon sharing herself amongst two guys, one who is her stepbrother,Allen and his best friend and partner in their company, John. Could have used a lot more background references as to how their merry gang began and why it took eight years before he even had a conversation with his stepsister that lead straight to bed sharing. But it was entertaining and interesting.

I received an ARC for an honest review. This is the first book I've read by this author but it will not be the last! What a thrilling book! It's got assassins, mobsters, sex slaves, threesomes and a stepbrother!! There is so much going on, it's almost hard to keep track! But it's fun! Allen asks his best friend and partner, John, to keep an eye on his stepsister Amber who is in town with her boyfriend. Allen hasn't spoken to Amber in 8 years, since high school. John accidentally meets Amber and develops a crush, which aggravates Allen. Then they find out that Amber's boyfriend is selling her to the mob to cover his debt and John and Allen steal her away which nearly starts a mob war. Things heat up between John, Amber and Allen and they agree to a polygamous relationship. But battle lines are being drawn with the mob and blood will be shed because the bad guys want Amber back and Allen and John and their group will not give her up. Lots of romance amid the bloodshed! Great story!!

I borrowed this book from 's Prime Library and it was filled with grammatical errors, so many that I felt like I was reading an ARC before it was proofread. That being said I did enjoy the story.
Allen and Amber are step-sibling but haven't spoken in ten years, not since Allen told Amber how he felt and kissed her - she freaked and blew up at him. Now here we are ten years later and Amber's lowlife boyfriend is in some serious debt with the mob and his way of getting out of it is to trade Amber for his debt. Amber is being sold into a sex trafficking ring by her boyfriend I think I can say that this guy isn't going to be getting any #1 boyfriend awards. Allen has been keeping an eye on Amber all these years and he intends to keep her safe so he sends John his best friend and business partner out to tail them and see what is happening. I don't think Allen thought this through because after one look at Amber John wants her for himself, he has no idea that Allen has a thing for her only that they are step-siblings that haven't spoken in a long while.
When John proposes his idea to Allen on how to keep Amber safe...well let's just say that it didn't go over well at first. The chemistry was there between all three characters and the story was a good one. I will say that it was an enjoyable read despite the errors.

This novel had possibilities. I read stepbrother romances and menage erotica, and this book offered both. The plot synopsis sounded interesting although highly improbable. Two step-siblings who've neither seen nor spoken to one another in eight years are brought together again by circumstance. Allen, the stepbrother, has been in love with his stepsister, Amber, for years, but has had no contact with her since he told her he loved her and she failed to respond. We're not told his profession at the outset, but she's coming to New York, and he decides to have her watched by his business partner, John, and another employee, Derek. When he learns that the guy she's been with for the past couple of years owes a lot of money to the mob and plans on selling her as a sex slave to pay off his debt, Allen has John and Derek kidnap her and bring her to him for safety. Amber is drawn to John, and when Allen realizes this, the two men agree to share her if she'll have them, and that's if they manage to survive the mob leader's vengeance at stealing what he now considers to be his property, Amber. And, their actions lead to war with the mob.
All of the aforementioned happens very quickly,and the story is told in so many alternating points of view that I found myself frequently backtracking to remind myself whose point of view I was reading. By the way, Allen and his compatriots are hitmen--hired assassins, which didn't make them heroes in my eyes, yet Amber doesn't question their chosen profession for long.
The sex scenes, when they occur, are steamy, but I found my willing suspension of disbelief stretched to the max at how quickly Amber agrees to the menage deal that Allen and John have previously agreed to--only a few days after Amber meets John and learns that her stepbrother is a hit man. The attempt to free the mob-held sex slaves is graphically violent. Finally, the sheer number of blatant and elementary grammatical errors in this novel was disconcerting to say the least and extremely distracting to this reader.
